This seems a bit random page but I will include useful software and tweaks that sometimes you need to do.
Remote sessions
mRemoteNG
For Windows 7 ver mRemoteNG-Installer-1.74.6023.15437.msi it requires RDP 8.0 and although explained that it needs KB2592687 update there a bug in the installer. The work around is below
Msiexec /i <PathTomRemoteNGInstaller> IGNOREPREREQUISITES=1
